Volleyball Swept at Glendale

The No. 19 Scottsdale volleyball team was swept by No. 12 Glendale tonight at GCC. Set scores for the match were 20-25, 19-25, 21-25.

The loss drops SCC to 8-4 overall and 4-3 in the ACCAC. The Artichokes currently sit in third place, three games behind league leaders Mesa and two games behind Glendale. Glendale holds the tiebreaker with Scottsdale by virtue of sweeping the regular season series. There are five conference matches remaining.

Tanner Robinson paced the Artichokes by hitting .304. She had a team-best 10 kills. Ella Petcu had 26 digs.

Scottsdale will next host Phoenix on Friday, October 10 at 7 p.m. SCC defeated PC 3-1 on September 10.
